Hallux Valgus Correction

This surgery is performed to correct the deformity of the big toe in cases of hallux valgus (bunion). The procedure typically involves realigning the bones and soft tissues of the big toe to reduce the bony bump and improve foot function. Depending on the severity of the deformity, different techniques may be used, such as osteotomy (cutting and repositioning the bone) or fusion of the affected joint. The goal is to relieve pain, restore proper alignment, and improve the ability to wear shoes comfortably.
