Turf Toe Surgery
Turf toe surgery is used to repair severe sprains or injuries to the ligaments around the big toe joint, commonly caused by hyperextension of the toe. This condition is especially prevalent in athletes who play on artificial turf. Surgery involves repairing or tightening the damaged ligaments to restore stability and function to the toe. It is usually considered when non-surgical treatments have not relieved pain or restored movement.
